Paul Green, President of Halcyon Gallery asked for a complete rebrand of the gallery identity including a new set of guidelines, corporate website and stationery.
The old logo incorporated a very traditional look with the name Halcyon (kingfisher bird) representing the gallery’s roots in the selling of wildlife art. The gallery, whilst keeping a firm finger in this area of art expanded further into the sales of Master paintings as well as contemporary art. Therefore, a contemporary look was required.
Working closely with the Marketing Director, it was felt the two tone logo represented both the Classics and Contemporary art sold and exhibited at the gallery. This ideology was then applied across stationery and the website, which we designed and worked with an external consultancy to develop.
